In detail

Most keypad locks are Grade 2 or ungraded. This is Grade 1 — 800,000 cycles and 300 ft-lb of impact — with a sealed keypad rated from -30°F to 150°F, which is what a side door, shop door or unheated garage entry actually sees in Idaho.

Thirty codes, key override, one-touch lock, and an auto-lock delay that can be turned off. No app, no hub, no account.

Fitting and care. Change the factory codes before fitting. On an unheated door expect the batteries to last through one winter rather than two, so change them in autumn as routine rather than waiting for the low warning at -10°F. The clutched lever is meant to spin freely under force — that is the mechanism working, not a fault. Keep the override key off the premises it opens. Lubricate the cylinder annually with graphite or PTFE and wipe the keypad so wear does not advertise which four digits you use.
